30 weeks

Well, I've officially reached the stage in pregnancy when your pants don't stay up and your shirt won't stay down... gotta love pregnancy :) Besides that, I'm feeling great, the braxton hicks come and go as they please and the heartburn is just barely starting to act up (which is quickly putting an end to my craving for chips and salsa). I still have lots of good energy, I've been organizing and de-junking the house since we got back from Christmas vacation, my belly button is ultra sensitive and drives me crazy to have anything touch or rub against it. I'm able to feel actual "parts" of the baby when he moves, I LOVE feeling the baby move (not as much in the middle of the night, but none the less I love it). John rubs my feet every night and my back every morning (often it hurts more in the morning than at the end of the day... I guess I'm not sleeping all that well lately). Jack loves to kisses my belly and say, "come out baby brudder!"

I will be 31 weeks tomorrow and I can't believe how fast this pregnancy has gone. I'm afraid these next 9 weeks are going to go be WAY faster than I'd like them to be. I mentioned to John how bad I've been at "documenting/taking pictures" of this pregnancy. He simply said, "It's bound to happen second time around? Besides that, do you feel deprived that YOU didn't ever see a picture of your mom when she was 16, 20, 24, 30.... weeks pregnant with you? Or were you sad you never heard what she was craving or how she was feeling at any particular week?" I said, "Nope... You've got a point!" With that being said baby boy #2, please know that we couldn't be happier for you to join our family. We are so excited to meet you.

When I first saw this picture I thought, "WOW am I really that big?" I don't feel that big, but then again I don't usually see that angle of my belly! So, I asked John if I look that big in real life... he quickly agreed that I am much smaller then that picture portrays :-) He's very nice to me... after all the camera adds at least 10 lbs, right?
