May 24th, 2009 Jonah Ray Gochnour was blessed by his dad, John Jacob Gochnour. We blessed him at 2pm at my parent's house right after their church meeting. John's mom and sister drove down from Idaho for the blessing. His dad wasn't able to make it because he can't leave the farm this time of year. John's uncle Steven, aunt Joni and cousin Megan live in Phoenix, so they were able to come too. It was a perfect day. We are so blessed to have such a sweet little boy.
John's family put on a yummy luncheon at my parent's house for all the family in town. We had salads, sandwiches and veggies and a long afternoon of laughing, talking, and family time. I love being with family.
My brother Dave, Gpa Ray, Jason, John, Dad Soelberg, Jaren, McKay, Alan were all part of the blessing. Bishop Milo LeBaron was also there, but stepped out before I got a picture.
Sweet little Jonah (7 weeks old) fell asleep in my arms right after the blessing.
We are a happy family :-)

Is Milo LeBaron as in he was a mission pres 2x (mine actually :)) or does he also have a son?

That picture of you guys is really cute. What a sweet little family. And what a good idea to just do the blessing at your house. It would just seem a lot more personal that way. Maybe we will do that with our next one.
