jack's latest

I just have to write these down before I forget. Jack is MR. PERSONALITY these days. He's so stinkin hilarious. Plus, just a few random pictures I've taken this summer (in no particular order or reason...) I love this kid :-)

***"Wait for my goes" Translation: Please let me go first (up the stairs or into the room, or where ever we are going... He has to go first, and he has to do it all by himself).
*** We walk into the movie theater and he looks at all the chairs and all the people and raises his eye brows and says, "I am definitely sitting by you mom"

***"I did it, I did it... oh yah yah yah"

***John: "Why dont' you come into the hot tub?"
Me: "I think it's too hot for Jonah"
Jack pipes up: "It's not too hot, it's JUST RIGHT!"

***"What's up J-dawg" as he walks past Jonah laying on the floor
*** Walks in while I'm folding laundry and says, "WOW, look at that beautiful mountain"
I reply: "What mountain?"
Jack: "Right dear, of clothes"
I guess that's my 2 year old's way of saying "Thanks for doing the laundry mom!"

***Jack's stomach growls and he says, "Whoa mom, excuse me... did you hear my tummy was tooting!"
*** He watches me so intently as I brush my hair and asks, "Mom, you gettin married?"

***Jack: "I don't like the sun in my eyes mommy, I need cookie sheets"
Me: "Cookie sheets? What are you talking about?"
Jack: "You know, those things right by your elbow"
Me: "Oh, you mean the sun shades that I put in the windshield window so our car doesn't get really hot?"
Jack: "Now you're talkin!"

***Cashier at Costco: "You are such a cute little boy, what's your name?"
Jack: "My name is Jack Gotner. I come in peace" (quoting Buz Lightyear from Toy Story)

***Jack laying on his back in the bathtub: "Look mom, I'm gettin baptized"
*** "Oh good morning Jonah, I missed you so much!"
*** "Oh my goodness mom, look at Jonah. He is so cute!"
*** Jack: "Actually mom, da red car goes dear... not da blue one"
Me: "Well excuse me!!"
*** Jack walks in on me going to the bathroom and says with all enthusiasm in his voice, "Yea for mommy. Mom, I am so proud of you. You are such a big girl to go potty in the toilet" Ummm, ya think he's heard that a time or two?!?...
***Hey mom, can I watch Jack? Translation: I want to watch home videos! I Love him...

how cute! This age is so fun isn't it. I just love all the funny things Eva says. Her and Jack are a lot alike. When Eva wants to watch videos of herself she says, "I want to watch the Evas!" LOL
