Monday Fun

Music Makers is this amazing little singing group/organization that meets every Monday morning. We do finger play songs, singing time, movement, then story time. The kids absolutely love it and so do I! Check out the blog at http://musicmakersforkids.blogspot.com/ This particular day was our Valentine celebration.

Jack LOVED making these little valentines with mommy. He was so proud to give away these hearts he helped cut and color.

Nothin wrong with enjoying a little tasty treat. He couldn't believe I was actually sitting there letting him eat so much candy! (don't be fooled, it only lasted a few minutes)

Dancing to the choo choo train song. Or I guess this month we can call it the "love locomotion!"

That night for FHE we cooked our first turkey! I bought at a Thanksgiving time when they had their sale, $0.39/lb and it was taking up too much room in my tiny little freezer, so why the heck not have turkey dinner in Feb?

We brined the turkey the night before and it turned out so moist and yummy.

12.7 lbs of goodness for only $4.97!
