We don't celebrate Valentines Day on Feb 14th... we celebrate ten days later, on Feb. 24th because that's the day we got engaged. Plus it worked out nicely because I was in AZ this year on Feb. 14th. For Christmas John gave me a flight to AZ for this weekend because it was 1) my parent's 40th wedding anniversary and 2) my youngest sister, Ashlyn was the last of all 9 of us Soelberg girls to do the Jr. Miss Scholarship program. She was absolutley AMAZING (more details and pictures to come).
I made a fabulous dinner (if I do say so myself)!! I marinated pork tenderloin, sauted onions and bacon pieces and put them on top of green beans, served with delicious mashed potatoes on the side.
Don't be fooled, this wasn't as romantic and quiet as it looks...
And it all started with J+M!!
Can't complain when your husband's favorite treat is rice crispy treats. They're so easy and take 2 seconds! Plus, holidays make it fun to do creative things with them. Happy Vtines babe... I love you.

Ok, that heart shirt is super cute. I wanna borrow that when I'm prego. And your haircut is still ROCKIN'!! And my favorite part of the post is when you said, 'don't be fooled' after showing a romantic candle lit dinner with a baby right next to the table..funny :-)
You guys are so stinking romantic! I love it!!
Very cute. I really like the picture with Jack in the corner. Isn't that what family life is all about? And pretty soon you'll have another. Oh my goodness that baby is going to be hear before you know it.
Way to go Melanie! I love how excited Jack was to color those hearts. He's so cute!! Nice Dinner, too.
