So, John is headed to Alaska for 10 days. He's on the Alaska Law Review and they're taking their big trip during Law school's spring break (March 7th-16th). His plan is to meet with lawyers in Alaska, perhaps a few supreme court justices, and then pretty much just play, play, play. We wanted to go to Build-A-Bear before John left so Jack could have a little something to keep him from missing his daddy too much. We had such a fun time. We put John's voice into a little recorder (and Jack pushed the button the entire way home from the mall). He was so excited and amazed every time he pushed the button.
So many choices! Which outfit does our little bear want?
The finished product! As soon as he saw the "Boo Debble" t-shirt, all other outfits were out of the question. On the way home from the mall we were asking Jack what he wanted to name his bear... we started throwing out names of current Duke BBall players and Jack was insitant on "Kyle"! What do you think Singler would say if he knew he had Build-A-Bear named after him? 
Jack LOVES his bear...
but he loves his Daddy more :-)
Satisfied customers! It was such a fun family activity and now Jack will always have a little bit of daddy with him!

That's a really cute Idea. and I'm sure little Jack will be missing his Daddy. I know Eva misses Greg. I made her a photo album full of pictures of just her and Greg. We call it her Daddy book. She loves to look at it so she can see Greg. And in about 4 more weeks she can see him in person! I wish we had a build-a-bear here, cause that is such a sweet little gift.
Very fun! He must have made his dad proud choosing a Duke T-shirt without any influence.
