Yes, I am 39 weeks pregnant! When I looked at this picture I turned to John in complete shock and said, "Oh my gosh, am I really that big... in real life?" He kissed me and said, "You are the most beautiful pregnant woman I have ever seen!" Sweet sweet John. I have the sweetest husband ever.

My #24 Birthday Weekend
We didn't make any definate plans my birthday weekend because we didn't know if we'd be in the hospital or not... But, since baby wasn't here on my birthday, we decided to celebrate!! Since my birthday was on a Sunday, John took me out to eat the Friday before. We went to this yummy Italian place called 411 Franklin Street in Chapel Hill.
Pelfreys, Warners, and Nelsonsn went with us to dinner. This was the same night as the Law School's Barraster Ball. (It's like the Prom for Law students). We went last year, but for some reason, I didn't really feel like dancing all night. In fact being on my feet is pretty much the last thing I wanted to do :-) But, it was really fun to get all dressed up fancy and go to dinner. Some of our other friends got to go and they had a great time.
My good friend Megan Spiers made me these yummy cupcakes on my birthday.
My sister AmyLyn sent me this amazing edible floral arrangement. These beautiful chocolate covered strawberries were the first thing I ate after Jonah was born.
I LOVE having my birthday in spring time. My birthday is always beautiful.
My birthday weekend we had a visitor. Cree Jones is one of our mutual friends (John grew up with him in Burley and I was friends with him from my freshman year of BYU). Anyway, he came out to Duke to check out the Law School and stayed at our house. Jack thought he was so cool. Congrats on the wedding. Hope all goes well Cree!!
Ever since Jack was born, I've always taken a picutre with him on my birthday. Although I was really not feelin like standing in front of a camera, I knew I'd be sad if I missed one year. So, happy birthday to me!

I'm from Burley and knew John Jacob. Found the blog and have spent my Sunday reading lots of posts! I just had to comment on this one (that you posted almost a year ago) because the Nelsons were in our ward (in Logan) during the summer. Funny how small the world really is!
