...You let your 2 year old watch his favorite "trucks" movies while you deep clean your ENTIRE house! Nesting has come full force the past few weeks. Jack was so cute and as soon as I turned on his movie, he said, "Wait, Mommy I go get my trucks..." Sure enough he came running upstairs holding his tractor, dump truck, and bulldozer!
...all you want to eat is Chocolate. Any way, shape or form, I am lovin chocolate these days. Not to mention the peanut M&M's and 5 layered chocolate cake from Costco consumed prior to this picture...
... your belly is so HUGE, your 2 year old can't resist givin lots of loves to "baby brodder" ...
...You might be 39 weeks pregnant if you take random showers at 4:30AM simply because you can't sleep...
... if your 2 year old calls you a "Walrus" as he watches you roll out of bed! Good thing my self esteem is not determined by what comes out of my 2 year old's mouth. How the heck does he even know what a walrus is?...
... you go to vacuum out your car at the car wash (to get it nice and clean for a 2nd car seat) and it takes you 3 rounds of quarters instead of your usual 1! Huge belly wouldn't let me bend as low and maneuver as quickly as I usually can. Plus, it didn't help that I was worried Jack running around the parking lot...
So, I had an appointment the day before John left for Alaska, then I had one 10 days later (the day he got home). I had lost 2 lbs! Which makes me wonder... Maybe taking care of Jack all by myself is more of a workout than I had realized. Or maybe it's because he was gone for 2 Sundays (and therefore never baked a treat while he was gone) Whatever the reason... I never thought I would actually LOSE weight when I was 38 weeks pregnant.
So now I went to my 39 week appointment (one week later) and I had gained 3 lbs? Humm... Interesting. I'm thinkin all that chocolate is catching up to me. Yikes, this baby better come soon or else I really will become a "walrus"...

I can't believe you are so far along already! It seems like everyone I know is having babies within a two week period. You look wonderful. It's very sweet that Jack is excited for his baby brudder. And you are so good to get everything clean and ready for the baby. Where does your energy come from??! Best of luck with these next few weeks!

Walrus!! Mel, you look absolutely beautiful. You're rolling your eyes, right now, I know, but really your glow and sweet face and feminine curves really do compliment you, even---no---ESPECIALLY at 9 months prego! I'm so excited to see you in a couple weeks! Woo-hoo!

Well, for some reason I didn't know you were posting things on this thing....I don't know why I wasn't getting the updates, but I feel like I've been missing out now that I look at all the new stuff. I read it all, and commented, if you're interested... I'm so glad you're doing well. You look adorable! Can't wait to hear the news!
PS I'm craving chocolate all the time too...if only I could blame it on pregnancy. :)

Hey Melanie! Good luck with the baby! You really look adorable! 2 boys...how fun! I'm guessing you're made cub master in about 7 or 8 years! ;) It was fun to read a little update on how you're doing.
GAAAAA UUUUUUURRRRLLLL...if that is not the cutest little (ok..slightly big) basketball tummy, I don't know what is :) I am sooooo excited to see pics of the newest member of your family! Hope all goes well...and eat some more chocolate for me!!
39 weeks! You are almost there! Although I have never gotten into my 39th week with either pregnancy's I know that the end I think all pregnant ladies feel like a walrus so I don't think Jack is that far off. But you still look so cute. I just love a pregnant belly. Well good luck a post some picts of the baby soon.
Ah, it seems like just yesterday I was as big as a house with a baby and now Charlotte is seven months old. Enjoy ever precious second, dear friend. It all goes by too fast! I hope your experience is as beautiful as your first and can't wait to hear all about the new baby.
