Arizona how do ya do?

Well, we made it to AZ. We've been here about 2 weeks now and are having so much fun. John loves his job and I love being around family... what else could we ask for? We've had an eventful past couple of weeks (posts coming soon) but for now, I just wanted to say we're loving being here in AZ. We made it here for the last week of AZ's school so we got to go to dance and piano recitals, joy school graduation, chorus concerts, baseball games etc. We spent Memorial Day weekend in Albuquerque (SP?) New Mexico with John's mom, brother, and grandparents. It was way too short of a trip, but we enjoyed it very much. Well, I'm taking Jack to our cabin for the week then John and I are going on a rafting trip with his law firm this weekend. We're leaving Jack for the first time (over night). I'm a little nervous, but hopefully we'll both be distracted enough we won't hardly notice we're apart?! (Ya right...) Welp, that's about it. We're lovin life and hope you are too!!

Direct quote from Scotty: "I miss you guys and I love you. I miss Jack, Melanie, and John. Sweet Jack looks big and I want to give him a big hug and kiss. Good luck in Arizona."

Sounds like you guys are having a great time! I am glad all seems to be going well. My brother and sister in law left their boys for the first time last week and my sister in law's dad told them on the way to the airport that 1. They will wonder why they didn't leave their boys sooner and 2. When they get back they will wonder when they could leave them again. Jack will be fine, enjoy the time you get to re-bond with your husband!!! Miss you guys.

What a fun trip. And i totally understand the stress of leaving your baby for the night. But honestly I think it's harder on you than it is on them. I hope you guys have so much fun! And i think you should plan a trip to idaho soon. :)

Ah....the Gochnour family's triumphant return to the motherland. I'm terribly jealous. And John, I did get your message, but was completely over my minutes for the month. I've rolled now, and you'll be hearing from me soon.
