3 JOYS
1- My Family- I love my boys!
2- The Fall: Opening my windows every morning and night, pumpkin pie, red and orange, Autumn Wreath Yankee Candle, wearing a light jacket to the park and taking it off as the morning passes, changing leaves, the start of the holiday season, general conference...I could go on and on.
3- My red, Lexis Nexis water bottle. It's taken me 23 years to find the PERFECT water bottle... and I've found it. It has a great pop-up lid (spill safe). Large enough top to refill with water and ICE (a necessity). But has a small spout so water doesn't drip all over my clumsy self. Thank goodness for free Law School "Junk". John brought it home to me one day... little did he know it would soon become one of my top 3 joys!! (I REALLY like to drink water).

3 FEARS
1- Being alone at night time... (I've had a lot of these lately, John's been sooooo busy). Ever since the drunk man staggered his way into my sister's front door and I about peed my pants right there on her couch. Ya, after he stared me right in the eyes really left a fear in my bones! Poor old man... I hope he found somewhere to sleep that night cuz he was pretty sure that WE were the ones in the wrong house, NOT him!
2- The Ocean-- I can't look at pictures, movies, or anything that had an underwater view without hyperventilating. I have NO desire to go scuba diving or snorkeling and I will never set foot on a cruise... EVER! (Although John's pretty set on changing my mind!)
3- My house burning down- John's house that he grew up in burnt 2 weeks after he got home from his mission (he served in Bulgaria). After seeing those pictures and hearing their stories... I never want to go through that horrible tragedy. How awful to watch 20+ years go up in flames. Thank goodness they were all at church when it happened so no one got hurt.

3 GOALS
1- Get Jack's baby book done ASAP
2- workout
3- Run a race with my hubby. Even if it's just a 5K I want to do something with him.

3 current obsessions/collections
1- Reading... I've never liked reading before in my life but, I think years of not reading, is finally catching up to me. I'd love any suggestions
2-I am obsessed with and collect pictures of my son. I can't stop taking pictures of him. I'm not sure if it's cuz he's so stinkin cute or it's just my favorite stage or a little of both! But I love taking pictures.
3- When I was younger, I had this huge desire to collect stuffed monkeys. Growing up, my oldest brother nick named my "monkey" so I'm sure that had something to do with it. My sweet husband surprised me with one just the other day! I have over 30 monkey's all shapes, sizes, color. It's so fun to have a kid who likes to play with them as much as I did!

3 Random Surprising Facts
1- I know it sounds crazy... but I'm not gonna lie, I'm one wicked parallel parker! I should have lived in Europe (but i don't drive stick, so that doesn't do a whole lot of good cuz that's all Europeans drive...) Darn, they're missing out on some sweet parking skills!
2- Speaking of Europe: I went with my wonderful husband to Europe summer of 2007. We took our sweet little Jack had been in 5 countries by the time he was 5 months old. We started in USA (obviously) went to Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, and ended in John's mission in Bulgaria. Key cities include Prague, Salzburg, Vienna, Muchnic, and many more. It was amazing.
3- I have never had a traffic ticket or a broken bone. Oops is that 2 things?

I tag Andrea, Natalie, Chelsea, Brittany and AmyLyn.

Finally an update! Those are all great pictures. Your water bottle story made me laugh bc the same thing happened to me. I had a whole list of things I required, and we got these free ones through IBM that were perfect!

Those are cute facts. i forgot that you guys did all that traveling when Jack was so young. I admire you for that. I think I would have freaked out too much to enjoy myself but it sounds like you guys had a great trip that you will remember always.

What a fun little blog. And - you should read The Twilight books. I loved them.... and I definitely waited around FOREVER to start reading them. Everyone raved about them, but I wasn't convinced. I absolutely loved them though. Definitely a good read. I'm currently reading some Mary Higgins Clark (psychological thrillers/murder mysteries). I don't know why. I always freak myself out, but I love those too. But, after your scary encounter with said homeless man, maybe you shouldn't read those...

We miss you guys! And tell John we said Happy Birthday! :)
