Videos in November

Jack had a friend over for a play date. They found a patch of mud and the rest is history. They were spreading it all over the slide and knew they were being naughty, but how can you get mad at those little boy giggles? They were in heaven. (I took this video behind the screen window without them knowing, but I think Jack spots me towards the end!! Sorry its a little fuzzy.)

Everyday these boys are either playing outside waiting OR standing by the window waiting impatiently for Daddy to come home... and everyday the squeals are getting higher and louder!

Jack is such a good big brother. I LOVE seeing these boys becoming such good friends.

---- John and I traded cars one day and when I got in with the boys I turned the radio to my usual, the classical station. Down the road Jack asks, "Mom, why are we listening to girl music in daddy's boy car??"
---- Jack, "Mom, I'm just waiting for my skin to turn black" Me: 'Really? What makes you think your skin will turn black?" Jack, "I dunno... I'm just wondering why is my friend, Collin's skin black?" Me: "Well, because he's African American". Jack, "Ohhhh, that makes sense." (9/2011)
---- 2 year old Jonah was VERY angry with something big brother had done and he yells, "Jack come over here so I can punch you right in the face!!" (8/2011)

---Jack "Mom, why does she sound like a sheep when she cries?" -referring to newborn baby sister (8/2011)
---- Jonah after about 10 seconds of holding 2 day old Sophia, "I'm done wiff it!" (8/2011)
---- Jack: "hey, Hey, HEy, HEY, HEY!!! That says Jack!! That's my name on that sign. What else does it say? Me: It says "Jack in the Box". Jack: What in the heck? Why in the world am I in a box?? That is so silly :) (9/2011)
---- At the store with the boys and we pass by a Lightening Mqueen outfit. Jonah stops dead in his tracks, grabs it off the hanger and says, "Mom, I NEED this, really... really I do" 7/2011
---- "Mom I just love you so much" Me: "Really? Why Jack?" Jack: "Because you're so grateful for me". 7/2011 Don't we all want to feel appreciated?
