This year I feel like John and I celebrated Valentines Day twice. On Feb. 14th, I made some tasty heart shaped pizza and told him I loved him! But, on Feb. 23rd we had our REAL celebration. You may ask why that day? Well, we got engaged 3 years ago on Feb. 24th and given that was a Sunday we celebrated on Saturday this year. The only thing I wanted was to spend ALL day with John... so that's what we did! We ate yummy waffels and strawberries for breakfast, went to the Duke bball game in the afternoon, then went out to dinner that night. It was so fun.
The whole month of Feburary we wrote love notes to each other and left them in this cute little mailbox!

John gave me beautiful diamond earings. OK, so they're CZ but I could care less-- We're in law school people!! Aren't they so pretty?
The night we got engaged, John took me to the Melting Pot. So, we decided to have our own melting pot at home with delicious chocolate fondue. Jewlery, chocolate and roses... does it get any better than that? Thanks for a wonderful day sweety!

Sounds GREAT! I wouldn't have had it any other way, just spending the day together sounds like the best gift!
What a good idea with the mailbox--I'm so going to do that...especially cuz Michael is a fanatic when it comes to getting mail. Ok, so every other day or so, I get on your blog and watch Jack's little head bobbin-mouth moving video on that pony. SO cute!!!
