Williamsburg, VA

I know... it's been a while. BUT, I'm up and running. I keep having nightmares of my computer crashing, and me losing all of my pictures. So I've spent the past 2 weeks uploading them all to Costco.com and am in the process of burning them all onto CDs. I just didn't want to put more pics onto my comp until I secured them someplace else, ya know? Well, good news, it didn't crash. Anyway, I'm playing catch up and hope to do mega posting tomorrow! (here's to wishful posting right?) Enjoy--

For Spring Break this year we hit a few "east coast" must sees! We got to spend a few days with John's family so that was extra special. His mom, dad, and youngest brother and sister (Jesse and Hailey) did a backeast history tour. (They his NYC, DC, Philidelphia etc) We were so excited to meet them in Williamsburg and spend a few days touring with them. Here's a few highlights of our very fun trip.
Us in the stocks... thankfully we got outta there before any tomatoes were thrown at us.

Jack keepin the UV rays from hurting his eyes!!

Jack was a wanted man by all. In-laws all the way from Idaho were dying to see him. Daddy finally had a break from school, dying to see him, but mommy is still the favorite!! I can't complain about that! We brought the stroller so we wouldn't have to carry him everywhere. Yah right! Jack wasn't gonna stay in that stroller for anything. Too many things to see and touch: horses, cows, rocks. We made good use of the stroller...it was full of cameras, water bottles, coats, purses, diaper bag... how much STUFF can 6 people fit in one stroller? A lot!! It looked funny pushing around a stroller with no baby, but we're sure glad we had it for all our stuff!

We had a very fun time learning how to dance just like in the colonial days! All we needed was a heavy white wig and a hoop skirt!

There were people in costume, playing the part of slaves, commoners, etc. They did a roll plays in the evenings and this particular day men came riding in and out of the scene on horseback. Jack felt the need to wave "Bye Bye" to them as they rode off to battle!

This looks like so much fun! We are so excited to see all of the historical sites over there! We'll have to call you to find out what we should visit!
Hey, are you two going to the reunion this summer? I know that it is a fat chance but we are trying to decide if plane tickets are worth it for the reunion!
Hope you have an amazing day,
