Very sleepy boy

April 7th-- 88 degrees
Allison Ririe invited us to come swimming with her this unbelievably hot day. Thank goodness for friend's who have pools in their complex!!

It's a little early in the year to be so stinkin hot, but we'll take any excuse to dip our toes in freezing cold water when the sun is beating down.

Jonah was cranky and ready for his nap so we headed home in hopes that he'd fall asleep on the car ride home.

But the wrong kid fell asleep on the way home.

it was 4pm and I knew if Jack "started" his afternoon nap right now, he would be up until 11pm. So, I (being the nice mom that I am) tried to wake him up by forcing him to walk inside all by himself. Well, he didn't quite make it all the way inside. (Notice the lovely sidewalk chalk all over the walk way. Jack is going through a phase).

I helped him stand up and said, "Go to the kitchen Jack and mommy will get you an otter pop". Jack usually does very well with the reward system... didn't even phase him this time. Plopped right down on my dirty kitchen floor.

"Stop taking pictures, Mom. Just let me go to sleep!!"
