Yoga with Children

My back has been hurting lately (perhaps 6 different mattresses in the past 4 months is to blame). So, I thought I'd strengthen/stretch it out with a little YOGA. Usually I love YOGA but today's experience was a little different:

**Relaxing music= Jonah crying upstairs
**Upward and Downward dog= continuous barking from my 2 year old
**Various YOGA positions= tunnels (my legs) for Jack and his cars to go under and through
**Extending leg high up in the sky= a moving object to swing at with his plastic bat
**Inability to concentrate.... (I wonder why?)= losing balance and falling over
**Falling over= a very fun game...incentive for 2 year old to purposefully push me over
**Need I say more?....

I love them to death, but tomorrow I think I'll go to the gym!

Yeah, I give up on working out until my baby turns one. I hate to take them to the gym when they are that little and as you just posted, its impossible to do at home. Good thing you already look amazing:)

That is so funny. Logan just wants me to HOLD him as I run on the treadmill or do any workout. Kids are so funny. And like Chelsey said...you do look great!!!!!

This totally cracks me up! You can always bring the yoga mat over here and do one of my yoga videos with me... maybe during nap time?

All I have to say is hahahahahahaha. That is hilarious! I can just see it happening, too. Good luck at the gym. :)

Reading your post about getting back home to Durham made me realize we aren't going back to Durham. We miss you guys and all the fun, you are having without us. Hope you have a lot of it though and love your last year of law school! Tell Jack Soren and Ezra say hi.
