Sunday Day #3 in Boston

Sunday we went to church at Jana's old ward. It was so fun to meet so many of her friends when she lived there. The Temple is within walking distance to the church, so we took advantage of this photo opp...

SHOES!
The extra shoe in this picture belongs to Ellen aka "Big Red". She's one of Jana's really good friend's and our adopted sister for the weekend!! Also the photographer of the pictures below...
9 daughters... Oldest to Youngest
(We should have taken this barefoot, so you can see our real heights... but for the most part, it's pretty accurate)

9 daughters and 1 lovely momma!

The whole gang!

We went to Walden Pond where the great philosopher Henry Thoreau lived in this tiny little house for 2 years. He came here to enjoy the simple things of life, and live off the food he planted and nature itself.

This quote is right next to the spot supposedly where his house was.

Amy and I
We had such a wonderful conversation in this spot. We missed Erica (she stayed home with the sleeping babies! Thank you so much... they needed a good nap So badly. We ALL needed a nap but had way too much to do, see, and say!)

Jen and Ash attempted to take a nap on the way home! But of course just giggled and enjoyed time together.
That night we went to eat dinner at Daryl's house. He's a good family friend from Mesa. He went to high school with my 2 older sisters. We ate delicious fancy cheese, apples and bread for appitizer. Then Ham, broccoli, and black bean/yam dish. Then dessert, we had cake to celebrate Jana's birthday. We sang around the piano and enjoyed a nice Sunday afternoon!
