Day #1 in Boston

Thursday July 23, 2009
After leaving CA 4:30AM, driving 6 hours, stopping for a quick NEDS for an early lunch, dropping off my car at my parent's house in Mesa, driving to the airport (in a different car), leaving my baby and suitcase with my sisters while racing back home with my dad to get my wallet (left in the glove compartment of my car), racing back to the airport with my brother Dave (dad does a lot of thing really well, but "hurrying' is not one of them), met Jenica at security (because she had my ticket), catching a flight, having a great conversations with sisters, nice layover in MINN, caught another flight... we finally made it to BOSTON around midnight.

We were STARVING when we got there, keep in mind it's only 9PM AZ time and we hadn't eaten dinner yet. We found THE BEST sandwich place known to man. Yummy Roast Beast Sandwiches at 1AM laughing really loud with your sisters? What could be better?

We woke up the next morning at 11AM (jet lag killed us...) and got ready for our first day in BOSTON! We stayed at our cousin's house. She was in ID with her 4 kids so her sweet husband played host all weekend to a house full of 12 women... he was a real trooper to say the least.
Let the photos begin! All of us in front of Randy and Judianne's house, ready for our first day!

We stopped to see where Jana lived the 3 years they were in Arlington. They lived on the left side of this dual house and Pat and Jerry lived on the other! We were so sad they weren't home.
City of Boston
All of my sisters helped a ton with Jonah, but Adena's constant claim that, "He needs ME!" saved my back... and sanity!
Boston Harbor! Just before we got on the ferry.
The whole reason we're on this trip...
Jana turns 30! Happy Birthday Jana
We stopped at Quincy Market at a little stand with shirts, hats, jewelry etc...
We bought these hats!
Amy and I

Nothing better than "Boston Clam Chowda!"
Ashlyn, Jenica, Me and Jonah

We stopped and got pastry's and gelato...

At the world's famous "Mike's Pastry" in downtown Boston! Fabulous day...
