Newport Beach with the Warners

Our good friends (the Warners) came to CA to do an internship the last 4 weeks of summer. We only overlapped 2 weeks, so we hungout with them any chance we could! We took one Saturday and went to Newport Beach. It was yet another wonderful day at the beach--

We rushed home after a full day at the beach and got ready for our last firm dinner with Paul Hastings. We dropped the kids off at Shera's house (all of her kids except Andrew were at a family reunion so her house was quiet and empty, but she did have strep throat. She was feeling OK energy wise that night, but we were concerned it was contagious. I learned that kids under the age of 3 rarely get strep because the antibodies they have left over from birth act as a great immune blocker. So, we left the kids and prayed they wouldn't get it). Anyway, our dinner was actually back at newport and I ate delicious bass for my first time! Very fun night!!
