Animal Kingdom

We're ready for our 4th and final day at Disney World and decided to end with Animal Kingdom (mainly because fire works at Epcot and Magic Kingdom were only on Tuesday and Wed, plus they closed at 5pm and we knew we'd be really tired towards the end of our vacation... we were right!)

Welcome to Animal Kingdom!

The Tree of Life had hundreds of animals carved in the trunk, branches, roots of the tree. It was really awesome. (click to enlarge)

So many cool animals: Giant Turtle

Bug Eyes!! The World of Bugs in 3D

Jack really likes to look at the rino and Jonah really wants to eat the rino!

Jack said, "Hey mom, I think I know that guy from that "ROAR" movie!" I'm pretty sure he means Lion King.

The safari ride was one of the coolest parts of animal kingdom. We saw some really cool animals including cheetahs, elephants, lions, giraffe, hippos, rinos, antelope and lots more.
Lion King show was so cool. We had to leave a little early because Jack needed to go potty. It was perfect because we walked out and there was NO line for Mickey. After the show got out it was so long... The entire week we tried to get Jack to go by himself to take pictures with Mickey, but he was always too scared. By day #4, he saw Mickey and ran right up to him.

Welcome to Dinoland

It POURED for about 30 minutes. We ran under cover and waited out the storm. They closed down all the rides. It was a perfect time to eat our lunch!

We went to watch Nemo the Musical and sat behind this cute family from Scotland. Jack thought these girls were so cool.

Nemo the Musical was so cool. The songs were so fun and Jack was laughing the whole time.

After Nemo was over we had about 30 minutes before the park closed. Most people had left because of the rain so we decided to take advantage of no lines. We headed straight to Everest...
We each went on it 4 times!!
It's been a fun week... but we're ready to come home.

Perfect end to 4 exhausting days... I bathed the boys while John went to get dinner across the street at downtown Disney. (best sandwich I've ever had! I can't remember the name of the place) We snuggled in bed and ate Oreos while Jack fell asleep :-) Oreos in bed?!?! Why not, we're at Disney World :-) I was totally on vacation mode and he thought I was the coolest mom ever!
