Day #3... Magic Kingdom

We're BACK!!

Yes, that is me... all by myself! Thank goodness for the "parent swap" at Disney. Only one of you has to wait in line while the other stays with the kids. Then once their done with the ride, the other parent walks right onto the ride. I wanted to thank John for his sweet photography skills. He rarely remembers to take pictures so as I came around that corner waving ridiculously so the boys would see mommy, he caught an embarrasing shot! I am a crazy mom... what can I say? :-)

We entertained Jack with stickers and suckers while daddy waited in line! Jack really wanted to go but sadly wasnt' tall enough. Jack LOVED running around Huck Finn's Island. It was almost as cool as Dumbo.

Jonah's face says it all... it's hot, it's humid, and I want a good cool place to nap!

While they explored the Island, Jonah and I found some shade and enjoyed sitting! With the record breaking heat (roughly 93) we were SO tired and hot and sweaty and sticky... Florida weather is horrible. Why would they ever build a theme park in Florida?

We watched the "Dreams Come True" show put on in front of the castle. He's waving to all of his "friends"

So, I really wanted a good family picture in front of the castle, so I was seeking out someone who looked like they knew what they were doing. Naturally, I asked this guy who had a really big fancy camera and was taking pics of his family. I thought "This is the one!!" It didn't cross my mind that I would need to "check" the picture but when I later looked at the picture and mentioned to John, "Are you kidding me? He cut off the top of the castle!!" I don't care about my knees, I want the top of the castle?" John just turned to me and said, "maybe he really likes knees?!?" That made me laugh so hard that I no longer cared about the top of the castle!!

We noticed this awesome double rainbow entering Tomorrow Land!

Jack insisted on driving... it was a very bumpy ride!

Yes, you are seeing correctly... Jack cried the entire tea cups ride because he was thirsty. I told him I'd give him a drink after he got off the ride, but he wanted it right then. This kid gets his mind set on something and nothing can persuade him otherwise (even tea cups). I rode it with him earlier and he LOVED it (John was off getting a fast pass to a ride at the time so of course we didnt' get a photo).

Thank you Scott for recommending this fabulous treat. Pineapple float (pineapple soft serve in pineapple juice). Very refreshing and extremely delicious!! Just what we needed on this very hot night. Jonah was very interested...
So was Jack :-)

Cinderella's Pumpkin in the Magical Light Parade

Perhaps my favorite picture I took all week long. This moment made all those miles on my shoes worth it.

The fireworks show was amazing.

As you left the park the pumpkins are carved to say, "See Ya Real Soon"...
