We ate pumpkin waffles!
Husband's hair+ a little creativity= fun costumes!! This year we went as Billy Idol and "White Wedding" because after all... "It's a, nice day for a, WHITE WEDDING!!"

The Ward Halloween party/trunk or treating was a tonz of fun

That afternoon (after ward party and naps) Daddy FINALLY had time to carve our pumpkin. Just in time to light it that night :-)

We went trick or treating to a few of John's friends from Law School

Taco Bell gave out free tacos for anyone in costume! So... of course we went because I LOVE Taco BEll :-)
I'm really sad I didn't get more pics of our friends because I feel like this year (more than ever) everyone went ALL OUT on costumes. Megan wins the prize because she sewed Addie at LEAST 4 different costumes AND her beautiful cloak AND Ryan's coat (after she dyed it that color). She's amazing! Great costumes Spiers... I mean Tinkerbell, Edward and member of the Volturi!
We went to our neighbor's donut and cider party that night, then came home, put the kids to bed, asked our other neighbor (Lauri) to come over, and we went on a date. WHAT A WEEK!?! We were both so exhausted we decided to treat ourselves to a delicious dinner at the melting pot (besides that, our coupon expired that day.. $21 no strings attached!!)

P.s. I LOVE LOVE LOVE when you write down how Jack talks--it is so cute and I can just hear it when you do that...can't wait to see him!

So much FUN!!! Loved the costumes!!! That close up picture of jack in his costume is so cute! I'm super jealous of the fall leaves in the background everywhere. LOVE YOU GUYS!
