Family Hallows Evening

We live in a townhome complex along with 9 other LDS families. It is honestly "little provo", We love getting together and we share babysitting, dinners, rides to school, play groups, eggs, cups of sugar... we live in paradise! This particular gathering we got together for FHE or in this case "Family Hallows Evening". Everyone was to bring a Halloween something to share. I went a little over board, but I couldn't help myself! Halloween has the BEST food ideas...
Daddy got home on Sunday (the 25th) after being gone for an entire week to Utah. We were so happy to have him home and made this treat for him. His 2 favorite treats. Candy corn and rice crispy treats!! They were an excellent combination (by the way) and it got me really excited to bake more fun treats the next day... MONDAY!! Happy Family Hallows Evening
He was so excited to open the pumpkin and thought it was so funny that the lid fit so perfectly
getting all the guts so we can put our soup in it!
"ghostly" grave yard
R.I.P
Classic "mummy dogs"
my family's chicken/squash soup (topped with cilantro, cheese, sour cream, bell peppers) we make every Halloween. This year I decided to put it in a pumpkin!
The table of goodness :-)
pumpkin bars, eyeballs, mummy dogs, scary spider deviled eggs, orange rolls, graveyard cake, pumpkin rolls, corn bread...
Loralee's yummy chili, spaghetti (brains), and soup in a pumpkin
jack enjoying some eyeballs... donut holes dipped in white chocolate
We LOVE our little community here and feel so blessed to have so many good friends all around us. Thanks Megan and Melissa for putting this together. I'm so sad we didn't get any pics of the kids in their costumes. Oh well!
