Duke Football Game

The 3 years we have been here at Duke we have gone to about 1 football game per year. So, as the season approached its end, we headed down to the football stadium last Saturday (November 14th)! Although Duke football doesn't (and never will) compare to BYU football, we LOVE Saturdays in the fall...
Love my boys.
Jonah: extremely enthused about being at a football game during his nap time.
Jack: Trying to do exactly what his dad is doing!
John: Best daddy in the world. Thanks for taking this Saturday off to be with us. We know you're super busy!
The air was crisp, cool, and smelt like lemonade, fried foods and cotton candy.
Perfect day for college football :-) Clapping to the marching band half time show.

Our friends (the Mills) came and joined us at the half time. Hailey and Jack were very excited to see each other.

Jack trying to put the moves on Hailey... "Getch yo hands off me!"
I took them to this bounce house. They LOVED it.
Jack was a little shy when he saw the blue devil, but Hailey had no problem chanting, "Go Go DUKE!"
Trying to get Jack to smile for a family picture. Jonah apparently didn't need any bribing. He was all smiles :-)
Go Blue Devils! The got hammered, but we still had a great time.
On our way our out of the stadium, I saw these trees and HAD to take a picture!
Then I walked a little further and saw this... and HAD to take a picture. Boys, this is where Daddy goes to school!
The Law school sits on the corner of Science Drive and Towerview.
I know we're not leaving for at least 6 more months, but it's hard to realize that we're doing a lot of "lasts" here in Durham, NC. I'm a little emotional about the fact that this is our last year here so we're taking full advantage of everything there is to offer! I love Duke campus, I love Durham, I love the fall, I love the trees, I love our neighbors, I love being a student's wife, I love the east coast. I love it all and we will miss it greatly...

Looks beautiful! I am missing the fall, at least we are begining to cool down here.

It's still so pretty there! Our leaves are all just brown and dead now. Does fall last longer on the East coast or does it just start later??
